Headquartered in Daegu, South Korea, TaeguTec is a part of the 2nd biggest cutting tool manufacturing group in the world – the IMC International Metalworking Companies.
Established in the year 2000 in the garden city of Bangalore, the TaeguTec India product lines of Tungsten Carbide cutting tools include Inserts and Holder bodies for turning, milling, drilling, grooving, parting applications and solid carbide tools and tooling systems. Complementing the large-scale R&D initiatives at TT Korea, our local capability to meet the unique needs of Indian customers through custom-made products and ingenious solutions has been widely commended.
TaeguTec has a wide reach in the Indian market with branches and channel-partners in every major industrial town. Our service to the customer is backed by a dynamic and competent team of sales and technical support engineers.
TT India’s Bangalore facility, built over an area of about 10,000 sq.mts., is an AS9100 Rev D & ISO 9001:2015 accredited manufacturing entity, also certified for Environmental Management System [as per ISO 14001: 2015 (EMS) and OH&S system per ISO 45001: 2018 (Health and Safety).]

Sustainability
TT India has taken several proactive initiatives towards greening the environment, maximum resource conservation, and use of green energy. We have replicated a mini forest in our campus by deploying the Miyawaki technique of afforestation. We are a zero-discharge company, completely self-reliant in terms of water usage, owing to reprocessing and rainwater harvesting. Our factory has half-a-million-litre storage capacity for rainwater, and this has helped us to become self-sufficient and water positive. Our company is also focused on increasingly switching to green energy, that is, wind and solar energy utilization in the energy basket. We are quite proud of the progress made:
