TaeguTec has introduced two new ground insert types to the CHASEMILL line — the APCT 1705 PER-ML insert and the APCT 1705 PER-AL insert with the latest geometry.

The ground APCT 1705 PER-ML insert, characterized by its helical sharp cutting edge geometry, results in excellent workability, surface roughness and is good for difficult machining as well as minimized built-upedges.
For existing APKT 17 insert users looking for more precise dimensions and better surface roughness, the APCT 1705 PER-ML will be a great alternative.

For aluminum machining, the APCT 1705 PER-AL line is an optimally designed insert with a ground edge (main and wiper) for excellent performance characterized by higher precision and better surface finish than conventional inserts.

Once the APCT 1705 PER-AL type is released, the APKT 1705 PER-AL type will be discontinued after the current stock runs out.
