Camshaft
The camshaft is a component that operates the poppet valves. It consists of a cylindrical rod running the length of the cylinder bank with a number of oblong lobes or cams protruding from it, one for each valve. The cams force the valves open by pressing the valves as they rotate. TaeguTec has developed a series of cutting tools that enable automotive manufacturers to achieve productivity gains and cost reductions with various tools such as the Cam lobe mill and T-Clamp.
